Why are you nominating this candidate?
Judith was the winner of the Andre Damonte Award for the Young Concierge of The Year at the recent MVP Concierge of The Year Awards..In addition to the selection process outlined below, the candidates also had to give an outline of the educational presentation they would give to the next generation of Golden Keys Members at their Educational Day in 2020.
Describe the process you used to select your candidate:
The Society invites nominations from the hotel management team and then the candidates go through a selection process that measures them on their active involvement and support of the Society, their contribution to training and development and their personal social responsibility towards charitable initiatives and the environment. They are then questioned by the selection panel, tested on their knowledge, and vision for the future of concierge and the success of The Society of Golden Keys of Great Britain and The Commonwealth.Having survived all of that, the shortlisted finalists then had face to face interviews and scrutiny by Giovanna Grossi, hospitality consultant and trainer, who has vast experience as a judge on numerous award panels including The Cateys and The AA Hospitality Awards Panel.
3 days before the awards presentation, Judith and the rest of the Rosewood London team received the news that their friend and Front of House Manager had been killed in a car accident. The decision to attend the awards was vey difficult, however Judith presented herself with great dignity and respect to honour her colleagues memory.
